Bastia is hosting Wahbi Khazri for training, after his contract ended at Montpellier on June 30. The 34-year-old Tunisian international, who has played 319 Ligue 1 matches, including 30 last season, asked his former club to maintain his fitness and work within a team. Wahbi Khazri had been preparing alone in recent weeks, but decided to join Bastia for a few days. The Corsican club, which finished 8th in the last Championship, is set to resume play on August 9 in Ligue 2. Bastia's squad is considered complete, with the arrival of four players this summer, including Karamoko, Parravicini, Zaouai, and Olmeta. Wahbi Khazri played for Bastia from 2004 to 2014, but a return to the club is not planned. The club still needs to determine if its next match will be held in Ajaccio or Boulogne-sur-Mer, after ACA's relegation to National.
