Bastia has appointed Laurent Peyrelade as their new coach. The French technician, 56, has signed a two-year deal, with an option for a third year. Peyrelade has previously led Rodez to promotion to Ligue 2 in 2019. He has also coached Versailles and Grenoble, but with less success. The club announced the appointment on their website, with a statement saying that Peyrelade was chosen for his experience and skills. Bastia also announced that Peyrelade will be assisted by a team of coaches and doctors. Training will begin on June 15th.
