The LFP disciplinary commission confirmed Mans' 0-2 win over Bastia, obtained on the pitch, last Saturday, during the 34th round of Ligue 2. There were only a few seconds left to play when Ruddy Buquet, the referee of the match, sent the players to the locker room to protect them from the smoke bombs and fireworks launched from the stands. The game never resumed, but the LFP disciplinary body, after a brief investigation, - without surprise - validated the score, which sends the Manceaux to Ligue 1 and the Bastiais to Ligue 3 (the professional division that replaces the National next season). ## Bastia escapes point deduction The Corsican club is also docked two matches at home, plus one with a suspended sentence. But it escapes a point deduction for next season, which was a threat. Bastia was indeed under a suspended sentence after previous disturbances, less than six months ago. On December 5, the Bastia-Red Star match was definitively stopped just before kick-off due to a smoke bomb thrown onto the pitch from the Bastia supporters' stand. The projectile landed on the back of an Audonien player (Bradley Danger). The Corsican club lost the match on a yellow card (it was 0-0 at the time of the interruption) and also received a point deduction with a suspended sentence. This suspended sentence is therefore not fallen. « In general, we withdraw a point when a match actor is touched, explains Sébastien Deneux, president of the LFP disciplinary commission. *This was not the case during the Bastia-Le Mans match. So there was no reason, in our opinion, to revoke this suspended sentence. »
